Bulldog Coffee Branding

Bulldog Coffee of San Francisco came to me seeking a refreshed brand that represented them better, and also could grow with them as they reach more customers in the Bay Area. They love “Billy” their bulldog mascot, and wanted to ensure that he was approachable and cute while the overall branding is unique enough to stand out from the many coffee companies in the area.

I chose to create a high contrast illustration for Billy, adding approachability with his head tilt and soft rounded typography. To make the branding pop, I chose bright primary colors yellow and blue, with highlight and shadow in a cream and charcoal.
